Melbourne Health Accelerator (MHx)
As one of the largest hospitals in Victoria, The Royal Melbourne Hospital is inviting healthcare start-ups to participate in Australia's first hospital 'in-situ' accelerator program. Applications are now open for the 2019 MHx cohort, which will run from April 8th to July 5th 2019.
If you are seeking to further accelerate innovative solutions in healthcare, the program provides selected companies with:
A curriculum tailored to healthcare entrepreneurs
A dedicated desk within the MHx shared workspace
Guidance from mentors and advisers representing the industry best practice
Access to one of Victoria's largest medical networks
The program fosters a creative environment where stakeholders from all facets of health can actively engage in testing hypotheses, gaining valuable clinical insights and improve research translation and commercialisation capabilities.
Startups accepted into the accelerator range from Minimum Viable Product (MVP) stage to companies that are post-seed and series A ready. The program requires that at least one founder from each company be based in Melbourne with a commitment of 2.5 days a week for the duration of the 13 week program.
